Hi Randy I was wondering why you think this is so? Would management practices differ as number of colonies increased or is it a crowding of colonies or??? I ask as I have 14 treatment free colonies of various ages (1 to 3 years old) now and will be increasing over the next few years. Hopefully to about 50 or so in two yards.
