growling noises from hives

Has anyone heard the weird growling noises hives make sometimes? It sounds
like a stomach growl. This season I am hearing it more than others. I am
hearing it more from nucs than big hives. And no it is not an animal in my
hives, they do make a sound that sounds like a stomach growl.

Jerry do you know? Is it a noise drones make? I have heard drones make some
different noises.
