I have been reading /Functionality of Varroa-Resistant Honey Bees
(Hymenoptera: Apidae) when used in Migratory Beekeeping for Crop
Pollination/ and came across this interesting statement:

/"The proportion of colonies infested by A. woodi increased during each
year in all four bee types, but in CT bees the late summer treatment
with amitraz against V. destructor also markedly reduced infestation
with A. woodi." /
