For the folks who use apistan and checkmite: what do you do with the 
wax when you cycle out older frames from the broodnest?  Do you melt 
it down and turn it into candles?  I've wondered if it's safe for 
candles.

Similarly, would it be safe at all to use the wax from insecticide-
exterminated feral colonies for wax candles?
