When tasting goldenrod the term "Gym Bag" does not enter the equation.

Buttery, Full Bodied, Robust

We do honey tastings at special events arounds Cincinnati, usually with a chef. We try to push the range of flavors and usually have three of them. Its normally our current batch of Wildflower (Local) vs. Buckwheat vs. a Thyme Honey from Spain. Then there is a dish that uses our local honey as well which allows people to understand how different the dish could have tasted IF it had used one of the other two.

Last year our goldenrod harvest saved us and it provided a very nice full bodied honey that tasted fantastic. It was what I would consider a perfect winter time tea honey.
