I use my bottling tank to mix my sugar syrup.
It holds 25 gallons, so just heat it up to about 130 - 140 degrees, add
sugar, stir with paint mixer on a drill.
A nice thick syrup can be obtained very easily using this method.
After mixing, just leave it on at about 90 degrees and it flows real well
to fill pails or what ever you are using.
