I second that observation.  I bought some used shallow frames from a
retired beekeeper and could not find plastic foundation for them.  This
year I'm attempting to
produce comb honey.  Since I use medium supers for extraction, using
the shallows for comb production means that I don't have to struggle
with identifying where the comb supers are.

This is a great idea.  Exactly why I subscribe to Bee-Line.  Keep those
good ideas coming.  If my comb production flops, I'll do this to my
shallow supers.
