It is important debates like this that keep me reading bee-l. 


Speaking of bean counters, I was hoping someone would point out that the authors of "Risks of neonicotinoid insecticides to honeybees" acknowledge:

"Funding for the development of this manuscript was provided by Bayer CropScience Ag Research Division."
