.>Does anyone know how far individual bees wander inside a hive over a
matter of a few days and if they have favorite hangouts?

Not sure about favorite hangouts but I have read research which said bees
can simply sit for hours while the others work.

With humans the situation in work places is many times similar. One worker
or several are doing most the work while others slack off. Those doing the
work resent the slackers.

One would think bees do not harbor hard feeling for the slackers but I have
seen many escorted from the hive and several bees drop to the floor many
times fighting.

We are told the trouble is caused by bees which are not members of the hives
but I always wondered.

intruders or at times slackers?

Most researchers say to not compare insects to humans.
