That's surprising--they'll need to rewrite the flash point tables!

One of my favorite demos was to insert a piezo igniter into the bottom of
the old-style plastic film can, add a single drop of alcohol, let it
vaporize for a minute, and then hit the igniter.  It would blow the cap off
the bottle and across the room with a resounding explosion.  I'm way
curious as to why your ethanol fog did not blow.

Two more questions:

1.  Could you please confirm that it was pure ethanol that you used?
2.  What was the approx air temp--the flash point of ethanol is roughly 62F.
