I guess in the Czech and Slovak Republics beekeepers do not have an
alternative, where they simply have to deal with the swarm propensity or
simply quit beekeeping. Comparing beekeeping with the American Ligustica and
Carnolian is like comparing apples with pears. The Carnolian beekeepers have
no alternative, no wonder they agree with labour intensive management: they
miss the alternative.
