There are news of hives stolen around the world.

NZ:

spain: http://www.abc.es/agencias/noticia.asp?noticia=80599
usa: http://www.tri-cityherald.com/crime/story/678879.html?storylink=pd

In my case, some one (probably a beekeeper) robbed only the frames with
honey from 55 hives. They left everything in the correct order, so we did
not noticed anything till today when preparing hives to move to almonds. The
bees were starving, most of the colonies dead. What a crime in the middle of
winter.

Do these stealing happening around the world mean a honey shortage? Will
these rise the price of honey?
