I am fairly ambivalent about stings and have certainly had my fair share.
I do wear a suit but that is to protect my clothes and the washing machine
from propolis and other beekeeping related 'gunk'. The last couple of
years, and this past week in particular, I have been having an occasional
localized reaction in my knuckles to stings. I can get a mild sting in
the knuckle of my index finger and the next day I have severe local
swelling a pretty good pain. This time it has lasted for a week. The pain
and swelling are bad enough to take that hand out of commission for most
tasks. This seems in contradiction to the treatment-for-arthritis crowd
that advocates stings in the pain 'pressure points'.

I don't have problems anywhere else with stings and this is not worth a
visit to a MD as it eventually goes away but it is curious. Does anyone
else have these issues?
