Hi everyone

I have been following the idea presented by Fernando Esteban about the
influence of Ca+ in nosema spores activation. Talking with the argentinian
researches the jury is still out. The references are not inclined to only
one side, on the contrary some says it activates and other that it doesn't.

Any one have any references to how the russian beekeepers use bone ashes for
controling nosema? I have heard about that but haven't found any references
yet (well I haven't had much time either to surf the net). If this is so, my
bet is that they do this in search of Ca+.
