This is ten years old, but summarizes the difference between nicotine and
neonicotinoids, and the apparent safety of the newer products. I am sure
some will be skeptical of this, but it is definitely not a propaganda piece

summarizes the difference?

I am sure the chemical companies wish there were *significant* differences.

Be informed:
The neonicotinoids are a class of neuro-active insecticides CHEMICALLY
related to nicotine.

The neonicotinoids ,like nicotine ,are nicotinic acetyecholine receptor
agonists.

also:
The neonicotinoid imidacloprid is currently the most widely used insecticide
