For those who face attempts to impose regulations limiting beekeeping based
upon this sort of alarmist stuff,  you can save a copy of this, a document
that has been said to have been helpful in defusing overly restrictive
"regulatory efforts" :


My Municipality took the quick and easy way out of dealing with Beekeepers, they have deemed "Bee's" a farm animal and hence you must then follow the zoning laws appropriately.  Farming in my area requires a minimum of 5 acres.
