I used to produce maple syrup, and sold it to health food stores. While
making a delivery in Port Jefferson, NY, almost 30 years ago, I was talking
to a "hippie" type guy much resembling Jerry Garcia. Somehow the subject
got on bees and how wonderful they were. At that moment, a honeybee flew in
between us, checking out the situation. I held out my finger, and she
landed on it. "Jerry's" eyes opened to their max. "Whoa man...too much."
Obviously it was, for he walked away muttering "far out", and shaking his
head as if he had seen a ghost...or God.
