Hello Bob,
The application of mitewipe has been modified sometime ago. For a  nuc  5 frames of bees you can use a single 40 ml pad. For a hive with 10-15 frames of bees you can use 2 pads 80 ml. For the full size hive, you can apply the pads 7-10 days apart;   3 applications.
It can  provide 80- 95% mite kill . Here in Alberta we recommend to use when temp during day and night time  is more than 15 c.
