So any way my question is for pollinators what if any are

Hi I'm a bee keeper that has 20 hives in 600 acres of the same crops
including Corn, I haven't asked what the grower sprays but what we have
agreed on is that he will spray the crop when the bees are not polinating
and have not had a problem yet. mellons and squash are easy, they close
around 11 oclock, also cucumbers only attract bees at certain times of the
day. the grower also has told be that he is only using what they call
bee friendly chemicals. the sprayer used is also a critical part of the
equation. the sprayer he uses confines the spray to the specific plant.
weeds are another problem, if the grower doesn't control the weeds they
can be flowering even though the squash aren't. if anyone knows the going
rate for hives in Conn and Mass or where you find the info. I would also
appeciate it. [log in to unmask]
