An update, for those who do not remember,
I am convinced that my bees have ccd

At this point I have 6 hives (N,S,, 2+4)

9 months ago I had 17, all supered (11+6)
5 months ago I had 11, then 10 (7,6+4)
(a abscond happened as I was there, lasted 2 days)

One difference between N and S, S got a short formic treatment in May-June

So I say again, formic seems to have an affect on ccd
Is it a disinfectant? Or something else?

A silver lining, I only have 1 cranky hive left at this point, 3 died
