Anyone have information related to
'mild aroma' home made bee repellents
for clearing bees from supers?

I will not be using this for clearing
supers, so contamination of food
is not a concern here.

The recipe I am looking at
calls for:

½ Benzaldehyde
¼ propionic acid
¼ propionic anhydride

Can anyone expand on the
above components? I would
prefer components which are
 'mild odor'

I understand that Benzaldehyde
alone may be sufficient, so are
the other components necessary?

Also, I have a source for the above,
but is anyone aware of any other
low cost suppliers?

Best Wishes,
Joe Waggle
