a question....
I am wondering about the effects on your bees because of the recent heat
waves that affected northen to eastern Europe and the east coast of USA.

Are you feeding for a good wintering? Is there any pollen still being
collected?

my comments...
we have had an extended spell of very wet weather which has limited my inspection of bees. with the grey and wet weather we have had no pollen coming in which will likely change quite quickly once we do get some sunshine and warming weather. I don't like getting stuck so at this time of year everything is on hold until the ground dries up just a bit. normally at this time of year I am checking and feeding anything that 'feels' light. for myself spring is not that far away so pretty soon the pace of things will get frantic.
