Just thought you might like to add this vandal damage to your lists.
We started spring stimulation feeding today, and found two more hives
with no bees against the inner cover. Pulling them apart we found dead
bees. So we went down to the bottom and would you believe, no Apistan
strips!
Someone had opened the hives and removed two strips from one hive, and
one from the second. (Before someone starts, we know we shouldn't leave
strips in all winter, but we had no choice as we diudn't find Varroa till
mid October.)
My question. How low can people get? Man, it makes you want to give up
helping others.
