Charles, do you mean the beetles turn the honey to taffy of the dry  
air?  We don't have SHB here yet but I am worried about my honey  
house procedures.  I use a dehumidifier to dry the honey in the comb  
for several days before extracting.  The room sits at 30-35C(85-95F),  
25-30% RH.
