Hi All; Debora take it from someone else new to bee keeping, pay close attention to what they are telling you about the mites. I have read /studied everything I could get my hands on and put to practice the things I learned and could do special smoker fuel, mite strip treatments, special plants in the garden and orchard. Today I went to apply the OA dribble treatment using Randy's website as a guide (thanks Randy). One hive had brood in it, and as I pulled the larvae out there were the mites, lots of them. Even though I took micro pictures of all the frames several times during the summer and fall, they still got by me.

Cheers
