Vancouver Island beekeepers are abuzz over the sudden end of a 25-year-long
moratorium on importing bees from much of the rest of Canada.

In the wake of a big winter bee die-off, some Comox Valley beekeepers are
saying it's the wrong time to introduce another variable into the mix when
the reason for the recent hive failures is not fully understood.
