As you note, the relationship is long term to meet the definition. Which is
true for AHB and Russian but not for AM. So, right now there is not a
symbiotic relationship, but it could happen in time.

Beyond all that, the problem is not Varroa but the stuff it vectors. So I
wonder if there ever can be a solution to the Varroa problem since it is
not a Varroa problem. As most know, low Varroa levels still can lead to
colony collapse because of virus and nosema. So you can have a symbiotic
relationship and still have major problems.
