I like the technique mentioned at last fall's WAS meeting at Simon
Frasier (somewhat similar to Jane's):  put a box on top filled
with a "fiberglass pillow," a plastic garbage sack stuffed with
fiberglass insulation.  Nice and neat, clean, etc., and avoids
the wicking problems.  One could, I suppose, put a breathing tube
vertically in this box and wrap the pillow around it.
