Regardless of those who disagree with 'dump the bees to get rid of the laying worker queen', carry and dump almost always works for me.  I do usually then give the bee 1-2 days before I introduce the replacement queen.  Any other approach has about 50/50 chance of the bees killing the introduced queen.   Seems like they're incredibly loyal to the laying worker.
