Maybe not up to date but Google books has a public domain copy of Frank Pellett's American Honey Plants published in 1920 by ABJ newer versions are available but for $$$$.

 Google has tons of old volumes on beekeeping for free from a variety of beekeeping pioneers.

Honey Plants Manual by Harvey B Lovell is available in libraries and on Amazon.

Subject: [BEE-L] Recommended publications for pollinator forage plants in northern states
 
I'm looking for reference materials for an advanced bee course, summer  
2013.  I have an OLD book from Utah on honey bee forage plants, and I've  got 
an original copy of McGregors book.  Looking for books, articles,  brochures 
detailing both crop and wild flowers attractive to bees - but has to  be 
plants that grow in temperate (i.e., northern climates).  

Are there any from Canada, or other northern tier states?  Reasonably  up 
to date and available to buy?

Open to recommendations.
