Beeing clumsy, I take two out and then start sliding frames over.  Gives me more room and I don't have to worry so much about rolling bees.  I like a two frame open space.  BTW, the open space seems to get more narrow as I progress to the other side.  Don't know why that is, but by the time I place all the frames back in there is enough room for all of them again.  (He said tongue in cheek)
