The above statement rather limits the cause of the kill.  It was not through either the nectar nor the pollen because the plants had not even germinated according to statement above.  It would seem to be the planting process rather than food intake from the plant is the cause.  Is the clothianidin being blown into the air by the planter and thus adversely affecting the bees in area at the time of planting?  Seems I've heard something about that before and that there is a planting process that almost eliminates that problem.
