Hello All,
I am enjoying the Christmas season and wish the list a Merry Christmas ( yes
I did not say Happy Holidays!) and the best new year ever!

2,4 D is a member of the phenoxy family of herbicides which include 2,4,5-T.

I have heard the Monsanto Dow talking points so long I can say from memory
about 2, 4 D and 2 ,4 ,5 T.

Randy maybe our friend Peter will post the source of his above statement and
save me time .

I SEE PETER HAS POSTED A SOURCE! Thanks Peter!

Peter said above:
"DIOXINS ARE present in 2, 4 D as a byproduct of the manufacturing process."

I said from the start Peter was correct in the statement.

The EPA has set a figure as to the level safe ( for humans). However like
the Nam nobody's checking product. I personally would like to know what
happened to the huge stockpile of 2,4.5 -T when Nixon suddenly ended the
Viet Nam war.

When Times Beach , Missouri dioxin disaster happened the problem happened
because of a chemical company trying to get rid of its stockpile of Agent
orange. Google Times Beach.

The better way would be to mix in other products and make money not spread
on gravel roads to keep dust down (Times Beach) .

Randy you are the first I have heard to say 2, 4 D does not contain dioxins.
They are present in some formulas but supposedly at or below EPA levels. I
am going to go out on a limb and say from memory 1 PPM.
