Hi Joe.  I recently found a copy of 'The "African" Honey Bee' edited by m. spivak, d.j.c. Fletcher, and M.D. Breed published in 91, and over 400 pages.  Apparently, it wasn't appreciated on the shelves of The Rockerfeller University library (stamped "withdrawn").

I see copies available, but at $100 or so (I bought mine about a month ago for $15!).

I'd try an interlibrary loan.  Contact me offlist if you need access to our copy.
