...i have no idea if these colonies were tested for pesticide (or miticide) contamination or not.  but (as we have discussed before), there is more than one route to contamination.

assuming that organic operations are not affected by pesticides is akin to assuming the 19 year old who wraps a car around a tree wasn't drunk because a 19 year old can't buy, posses or consume alcohol legally.
