I think the sting doesn't act lie a hypodermic as it isn't a simple tube. Probably it is capillary action assisted by the recipricating movement of the 2 parts of the shaft so squeezing the sac won't speed things up much.

Pete, have you looked closely at what happens when you squeeze the venom
ac?  I've experimented a bit, and didn't notice that squeezing increased
he venom output appreciably.
Has anyone else looked closely?
