Does this imply that viruses are 'steering' the behaviour of honey bee colonies?
Randy Oliver has referenced 'the monster', wherein collapsing colonies spread Varroa and their viruses simultaneously, to the great benefit of the viruses. Does this article imply similar effects? Does it provide documentation of the same?
If so, this has some profound implications for Beeks, of all stripes, and not just Randy in the wilderness. Not that he's ever been there, of course. Well, maybe he has been.
Best regards,
Brian
