Good questions, Juanse.
Yes, the proventriculus can remove nosema spores effectively (old Bailey
paper).
Pollen is larger than nosema, and much larger than AFB spores.

I don't know if the proventriculus can remove AFB spores.  It would be to
great advantage, since it would help to prevent transmission.  However,
seeing the levels of spores in honey, I suspect that it doesn't.  Anyone
have data?
