I'm not sure I've read any research paper yet that I take umbrage with some aspect of it- yet this paper points in the same general direction to quite a number of contemporary and historical research papers that suggest advantages in insulated cavities versus the alternatives.

And funny thing is, we still have not been presented with a single peer-reviewed bit of research showing uninsulated cavities outperforming insulated cavities in any context.
