"Ehrilich's predictions are given in the form of somewhat extravagant
scenarios."

Just do a Google search for "Paul Ehrlich predictions" to see some of the
far-out stories this man has told. The problem is that each time one of his
Chicken Little "scenarios" is proven wrong (not just partly, but utterly,
completely wrong), he follows it up with one that's even more "extravagant".
When environmental groups have these kinds of guys as their spokespeople, is
it any wonder that their largest, most terrifying story to date, Global
Warming, is greeted with a collective yawn from the masses?
