Hello All,
The December America Bee Journal came today.
With an article by Randy Oliver.
Titled:
Sick Bees
part 18

Colony Collapse Revisited.
Genetically Modified Plants

At the end Randy ends with:
quote pg. 1167:

Acknowledgements:
"As always ,thanks to my friend and collaborator in research Peter Loring
Borst, and to anyone who still reads my articles after finding out that I've
collaborated with Monsanto"

I will express my comment here instead of writing to "Letters to the Editor"
due to my friendship with both Randy & Peter.

I would rather see more articles about *beekeeping* instead of why those
which feel the chemical giants products are being unjustly vilified.

Lately I find several of your recent articles as PR for big ag and frankly
boring.

I did find the paragraph on pg. 1165 titled "Hold the hate Mail"
interesting.

Especially the part about being a collaborator with Monsanto in their
initial bee research trial.

bees are hardly talked about in the 5 page article nor CCD.

End of comment. better here than ABJ "Letters to the Editor" I would think.

enough said.

less big Ag PR and more beekeeping in articles!

bob
