John Burgess is quite correct in the points he raises, not to rationalize
but I did say;

"For example, in a quick and dirty example which is a gross over
simplification;"

Obviously the wording I used left something to be desired and I
appreciate the clarification of a very important concept where I tripped
over my tongue.
