would almost be impossible to find nectar producing plants, that is 
enough to sustain and produce surplus honey, without cans containing 
some type sweetener."

My TBH is located at 'Ourganics', a permacultural project on a few 
acres of former water meadow.  There is probably some small scale 
industrial agriculture within flying range but the hedged fields are 
not large. It is about half a mile from the nearest village, Litton 
Cheney but I have never noticed litter there.
