What other older, out of print, books are recommended by this group of informed readers?

Two books I really enjoy reading and rereading are 

Joys of Beekeeping by Richard Taylor
Fifty Years Among the Bees by C. C. Miller.

They offer good insight into being a beekeeper as much or more than insight into how to keep bees.
