Judy Spradley asks about cleaning old plastic frames.
 
I assume they are drawn and the comb is now black.  If so, put the frame in
the freezer and leave for an hour or so.  Take out and twist and the wax
should pop off.  It is back to the foundation and the bees can re-build.
 
The wax can be recovered by putting the popped off comb in a solar melter.
