Bob, I speak to beekeepers from all over the country.  Unless I say
"California beekeepers" I am not referring to them alone.

I know of large commercial beekeepers in (at least) Calif, Colorado, the
Dakotas, and Florida who are feeding those large amounts successfully.

Yes indeed.  They invest serious money in order to make even more serious
money.  They wouldn't do it if they didn't think that they were getting a
return on investment.
