Sounds like your queen mated with a dark drone.  See if anybody around you
keeps Caucasian, Carniolan, or old "German" bees.
 
ps.  Don't automatically throw the queen out because of the dark offspring.
 I have had good results with homemade Italian-Carniolan queens.
