Martin, In answer to your questions: Pb was detected in propolis samples from
China(purity unknown). Amounts found ranged from several hundred to several
thousand ppm. A propolis control from one of my own hives showed only
0.6ppm.The detection method was flame AA. I do not know the environment from
which the sample propolis came.These very high Pb levels lead me to beleive
that the propolis tested was not 100% propolis but I dont know this for sure.
