 > our first blooms in waning winter waxing spring are
 > mid-february give or take in any given year.

And ours are in late April, with the exception of some willows and trees
which bloom earlier, but may be inaccessible to the bees due to cold and
wind.

We sometimes have frost in late June and have been known to have snow
every month of the year.

Ten months of winter and two months of poor skiing.
