When I make up a nuc for a beeginner I use the bees from a hive I can slap
shake and pound on without a lot of bees becomming upset.
Never had bees become a problem from rough handling other than the day it
happens.
Other than selecting which hives are candidates for a beginners nuc I
don't go out of my way to rile them.
